Stationary Deck & Patio Awnings

• Stationary Canvas Patio and Deck Awnings are made to withstand the weather elements in the Northeast (April through October)
• Unlike Retractable Awnings, Stationary Awnings will provide cover for your patio and deck furnishings 24/7.  This will allow you to enjoy comfortable outdoor living all summer long.
• Adding a 3 season awning is truly like adding a covered open air room to your home.  This added living space can be used for parties or just relaxing and enjoying nature while being protected from the sun’s harmful UV rays or that unexpected thunderstorm.
• Our custom made stationary awnings are fabricated with high quality acrylic fabric from SUNBRELLA.  We construct the awning frame on your site made from a galvanizer steel tube called “Gator Shield”, made specifically for canvas awning frames.
• You need not worry about the seasonal removal and reinstallation each year, because Canvas Specialties “Put-up, Take Down and Winter Storage Service” will automatically take care of this.

Free Standing Awning

Our Tempo is a free standing double sided retractable awning.  this system can be installed over sidewalks terraces, patios or decks.  It is so versatile that the Tempo double sided awning can be used at home or at your business establishment.

Made to withstand the elements, the Tempo's support structure has a high grade powder coat cured onto a galvanized steel frame protecting it from rust, flaking and corrosion.

The components of our free standing awning are custom welded to ensure a flawless seal between them and the framework.

Door Canopies, Window and Porch Awnings

Canvas window and porch awnings are a lot like stationary awnings:

• All awnings are custom made to fit your home and style.
• We use acrylic fabric as the awning cover and “Gator Shield” tubing for the frame.
• All the manufacturing and installation is completed by our experienced sewers and service staff.
• You need not worry about the seasonal removal and reinstallation each year, because Canvas Specialties “Put-up, Take Down and Winter Storage Service” will automatically take care of this.

Door Canopies or Awnings are manufactured somewhat differently.  Although the fabric awning cover is made with the same acrylic fabric as other awning styles  the frame is special aluminum tubing manufactured by Miliken called a Miliken Staple System™, which we weld at our shop.  We then pull the fabric top covering tightly over the frame for a snug fit.  We take this extra step to allow heavy rain and snow to slide off your awning.

 Awnings for your door, porch or windows add charm and elegance to your home that only a custom made canvas awning can create while providing protection from the sun’s harmful UV rays that cause fading of furnishing and skin damage.

Stationary awning for doors and windows that uses a clear or bronzed cover panel for weather protection. These European Style Canopies are engineered for year round use.

Roll-Up / roman Curtain and Valances

Tired of buying the plastic roll-up shades for your porch that fall apart after 1 year? We have a solution to this problem.

Canvas Specialties will make a Roll-Up Curtain that will last you for 10 to 15 years!!

Your Custom Made Roll Up shade can be made from:

	Acrylic SUNBRELLA fabric with 100's of colors and patterns to choose from.
	A mesh fabric that allows you to see through it, yet blocks the sun.  (Fabric from Phietrex)

All exterior roll up curtains are installed with a rope and pulley system which allows the curtain to be raised and lowered depending on your needs.

Searching for something a little more decorative than the Roll Up Curtain, you can choose a Roman Style Curtain.  This type of exterior shade allows the fabric to move in pleats when raised and lowered giving you a more elegant appearance.  Our popular Roman Curtains are fabricated from the same materials as the "Roll Up Curtain" and uses the same rope and pulley system for operation.

Valances can add a decorative look to a porch without obstructing your view. They can make a plain porch, look charming.

Our made to order valances can be made in any length or width and are usually hung from under the side of a porch ceiling.

As with our other exterior products you can choose from 100's of SUNBRELLA fabric colors and patterns. By choosing the bottom cutout or wave pattern on the bottom of the valance you can create your own unique look.
